Upon receiving his degree in fine Arts from Art Institute in Yerevan, Armenia, Edward Safaryan pursued an advanced degree in sculpture from Tashkent Fine Arts Institute of Uzbekistan. While pursuing his expression using bronze for his sculptures for both public and private collections, the limited supply for his sculptures let to research other materials. His interest in ceramics was heightened by the vast supply of natural clay deposits and ceramic technology available in the region of Uzbekistan.

Edward creates his ceramic sculptures in his studio in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The elaborate multi-dimensional effects of these Wall Panels are created using large particles of glass and up to 15 separate kiln firings. The command Safaryan displays through his works has taken several thousands tests firings to perfect. Each unique piece of artworks is hand signed by the Artist and is drawn from the local resources, heritage and expertise.
