Katya Held

Katya Held was born and raised in St. Petersburg, the cultural capital of Russia. She began to participate in art exhibitions in early childhood and was acclaimed as one of the finest young artists of St. Petersburg.  Her early paintings were selected for prestigious exhibitions at the distinguished Central Exhibition Hall.  At age 23, Katya Held graduated form the St. Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts and Design, with a Master's of Art Degree.  

Traveling throughout Europe, the artist has exhibited her beautiful impressionist  oil paintings at galleries in Germany, Switzerland and Russia.  Her shimmering impressionist landscapes and lush still life paintings have been displayed at famous exhibition halls and galleries, such as the League of Artists of Russia, the preeminent Central Hall and the Museum of B. Stiegliz in St. Petersburg.  Worldwide private collectors in Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium and America boast of owning Katya's outstanding paintings as the demand for her work increases internationally.
