Kevin Convery

I am originally a native of Philadelphia. I studied painting at the Tyler School of Art in Elkins Park, and spend one semester at their campus in Rome, Italy.
For most of the 80's and early part of 90's I lived in East Tennessee. It's mountainous landscape provided the setting for many of the paintings done in those years.

After leaving Tennessee, I spent a period of four years in Moscow, Russia where I worked as an illustrator / art director on a series of text books for Russian high schools. I also taught English as a second language there.
I left Moscow about a year ago to return to Philadelphia, after an absence of some twenty years. I have been exhibiting most recently in several galleries in Easton, PA, as well as galleries in downtown Philadelphia.
